Shoes of the Week

These booties were also purchased on my trip to Marden's last week.  Grey boots have been on my wish list for a couple of years now but I never could find that perfect pair.  These ones are everything I could hope for: leather, fun detail on the side and the best part, only $19.99.  Now to just wait for some of that ice to clear up so walking in them is a bit easier!  Also don't forget to enter my giveaway, it closes tonight at midnight AST!

Shoes of the week

Or maybe this post should be called steal of the week.  I stumbled upon these shoes at our local Mardens, in Calais, Maine.  Mardens is a surplus store and their stock is constantly changing.  Their slogan is "I should have bought it, when I saw it at Mardens".  Well I saw these shoes there back in August and immediately fell in love, however they were $70.  But considering the brand that they are that wasn't that bad.  I didn't buy them and figured they would be gone.  They are a really fun colour and would be so great for colour blocking with dresses this summer.  Well I was over again this past week and they were marked down to $14.99.  Yes, I got a pair of Micheal Kors for $14.99!  Such a great deal!  Thanks Mardens!

Days Gone By...

These photos were meant to be shared with you back in late November/ early December.  Our little one decided to make an early appearance so they did not get posted.  This was my go to outfit during pregnancy, it got worn once a week!  The top, skirt and scarf were all finds here at our local H&M in Moncton(they have a great little maternity section).  This outfit was perfect for work and then could easily be dressed down by swapping out the skirt for jeans.  This is what I was wearing the night we went to the hospital to have our little baby girl!  Have a lovely Monday!



Shoes of the Week

Jimmy Choo always makes beautiful shoes.  When his newsletter arrives in my inbox there is always something that catches my eye and the preview of his spring/summer 2012 collection was no exception.  What drew me in was the Gail Leopard print shoe, however when I went to the website I discovered his Mira heels.  They are so much fun and available for pre-order right now at a cost of $2695.00 (a girl can dream right?).  Walking in them might be a bit difficult as the heel is 5.7", but I think it would be worth it, don't you?

Chanel Spring 2012

On January 23rd, Perfumes Plus in Brunswick Square had a blogger preview night for the new spring line of Chanel.  Unfortunately, I was unable to attend as I teach dance on Monday nights, but Laura was kind enough to let me come in the next day and view the collection.  A huge thanks to Heather for all her help when I came in to view the products.  First up was the collection of nail polish, I just love all these fun colours!

April, May & June

The thing I love about this collection is how everything goes together; and it is all so fresh and bright.  I got to try all the lipsticks and lip gloss as well as the blush.  The blush is great and gives your cheeks a little bit of sheen.  My favorite item was the lip gloss as it wasn't sticky like other kinds I have used.  I will be picking up some of that for sure.  Be sure to stop by and check out the spring line, you won't be disappointed!



Darling Dilemma Launch!
