 I blog about the adventures in raising my two sons. Soon after my husband and I got married (three years ago on the 15th), we found ourselves pregnant with our first child, now we have a loud and spunky two year old and a month old. They keep me busy! I love taking pictures of them, if you scroll through my blog, you will be sure to find at least one of them up to something!

What is your Favorite thing about summer?
My favorite thing about summer is the longer days. I love that there is so much time we can spend outside playing or hanging out in the back yard. Most days after work and most weekends are spent outside playing with chalk, sitting in the grass, or taking walks down by the river.

My blog, Little Waterlily in a Big Pond, chronicles my life on the East Coast of Canada where I live with my British Husband, Golden Retriever and two cats.  It's a fun, fluffy and rambunctious household.  I love pretty things, exciting places and interesting people.  

What is your favorite thing about summer?
I love the longer days.  During the summer it feels like you have as many hours of light outside of work as in.  I tend to burn the candle at both ends during the summer but I love it.

First of all I would like to apologize for my absence last week from my blog.  My grand father has been ill for the last couple of months and he passed away last week.  It was a difficult time but at least now we know that he is no longer suffering.  I am so thankful though that he got to meet our little girl and for all the great times I had with him.  We will miss you Grampy!

Step Up & Style with Vince Camuto Canada

A few weeks ago I was asked to participate in a style challenge with Vince Camuto Canada.  Bloggers across Canada were sent a pair of Vince Camuto shoes to style.  I received the Kandy heels.  Unfortunately they were too small for me, so my sister was kind enough to model them for me.  I styled my outfit based on the pattern in the shoes, drawing from the colour as well as wanting to style a look that could easily go from a day at the office to a night out with the girls.  The top 4 photos will receive prizes.  To vote all you need to do is go to my photo on facebook and click like!  Easy as that!  I would really appreciate your support!  Thanks to my sister Carla for modeling for me and to my readers for your continued support!   Voting ends August 13th at midnight if you would like to vote!

This was a typical Monday outfit for me, spent running errands.  This was also the day of the Miss New Brunswick Pageant Talent show.  Unfortunately I was unable to be there this year with my little girl, as I didn't have a sitter.  It was the first time since I won, that I haven't been there.  My hubby did watch our little girl overnight on Saturday night so I could be there to get everything ready and for the parade on Sunday.  Yesterday, was the actual pageant and Miss Nackawic won!  Congratulations Kaitlynn, you will do a fantastic job!
